Exam Pattern




Single Level Online Exam




The single level online exam consists of 200 multiple choice questions of one mark each. The total duration of the exam is two hours. There is a negative marking of 0.25 marks for each wrong answer. The exam is conducted in both English and Hindi languages, except for the English/Hindi language section. The candidates have to qualify in each section by securing the minimum cut-off marks decided by IBPS. The exam pattern is given below:

Interview Phase




The candidates who qualify the single level online exam are called for the interview phase. The interview is conducted by the Nodal Regional Rural Bank with the help of IBPS and NABARD. The interview carries 100 marks and the minimum qualifying marks are 40% for general category candidates and 35% for reserved category candidates. The interview tests the candidates' personality, communication skills, banking knowledge, general awareness, etc. The final merit list is prepared based on the marks obtained in the online exam and the interview.
